We are looking for a Commercial Loan Closer in Denver, CO. This role focuses works directly with lending team to collect, review and distribute approved loan due diligence. A candidate must have previous commercial loan closing experience in a banking environment to be considered.


Essential Functions:

  • Works directly with Commercial lending teams to collect, review and distribute approved loan due diligence items necessary for loan documentation preparation.
  • Ensures appropriate fees and expenses are recorded accurately.
  • Notifies lending team of missing/incorrect items requiring action.
  • Works directly with loan operations to ensure loan documents are prepared in accordance with credit approval, loan documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews executed loan packages for accuracy and to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Ensures appropriate approval and/or waivers and exceptions are obtained.
  • Submits the final loan package to loan operations for funding and boarding.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Requires a High School degree or Equivalent and 4+ year of Commercial loan documentation, closing or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of general commercial loan documentation, commercial loan closing processes and procedures, lending policies, compliance and lending regulations.

  • Ability to review, read and interpret Commercial In-House or Attorney Prepared loan documentation.

  • Confidence and experience in working with Outside Attorneys.

  • Advanced working knowledge of due diligence and risk management requirements.

  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Strong problem and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficient knowledge of pc's and various word processing, spreadsheet or related software.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $28.00 - $37.00 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
