Due to an internal promotion, The Commercial & Savings Bank is seeking a full-time Information Systems Director.
Summary: This position is responsible for the overall management, strategy, and execution of the Information Technology infrastructure. To accomplish this responsibility, this position consults with Senior Management to analyze information system needs, recommends and develops plans for systems and process development. Management of outside consultants and vendors is critical for certain systems and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.
Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.
Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans associated with the department.
Participates as a member or Chair of the IT Steering Committee, as directed and serves on other committees as required.
Maintains the primary responsibility for development of staff members inside of the department.
May work with our Professional Development & Training teams to help employees grow
Ensure and work towards proficiency in each job function assigned to team members.
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations by stating abreast of federal and state banking laws and regulations affecting the IT Department.
May serve as the primary system administrator for different CSB Systems.
May serve as the primary security system administrator for different CSB Systems.
Develops and distributes reporting consistent with our policies and procedures.
Process and Procedures
Is responsible for the documentation of departmental procedures and updates to those procedures.
Works with staff members to review processes for efficiency gains.
May supervise or manage certain projects from time to time as related to the department or technological offerings.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in an information technology related field.
Information technology related certification preferred.
Project management experience or related course work preferred.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
