Our Lending Product Representative is responsible for education, communication and evaluation for assigned subject matters within Compliance Systems’ solutions to meet or exceed rational partner and client expectations as to industry core competencies, best practices, and requirements for content and functionality in manner that drives long-term, sustainable revenue. Specifically, the Lending Product Representative is responsible for:
Communicating product functionality, including language, data, and software functionality, product/release documentation, and all business rules required by the market.
Understanding and communicating Compliance Systems’ data structure and metadata that drives compliant, warranted functionality of Compliance Systems’ products satisfying market needs and industry best practices.
Providing support to both evaluate changes and ensure development work conforms to product requirements defined for all key business lines, including consumer lending, commercial lending, VA, FHA, Freddie, Fannie, and home equity.
Responding to both internal and external inquiries about assigned products.
Proactively educating internal staff, current and prospective business partners and clients on product design, upcoming product updates and development efforts, and industry trends.
Participating in any special project(s), as needed.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Identification, evaluation and communication of recent industry trends for assigned subject matters so that products meet or exceed the wants and needs of current and prospective clients and business partners.
Data Communication: Understand and communicate the data used in assigned subject matters to drive compliant, warranted functionality of Compliance System’s products that satisfy market needs and/or the industry best practices for an assigned subject matter or sub-product group.
Provide support for both internal and external inquiries about the assigned subject matters.
Provide support to other employees in the implementation of clients and integration of partners.
Qualifications and Skills
CRCM, ABA Certificate in Business and Commercial Lending, ICBA consumer or commercial lending certificate, or like experience and qualifications.
Business principles, banking, and legal and compliance knowledge directly related to consumer lending, commercial lending, VA, FHA, Freddie, Fannie, and home equity, including an in-depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in the financial services industry. Administrative or End-User experience with LaserPro®, Wolters Kluwer® or other Loan Origination and Deposit Account Opening solutions a plus. Data processing methods and procedures, and computer software systems
Preferred 5+ years’ experience at a financial institution.
Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of integrated teams in a fluid environment.
The ability to manage details and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
The ability to develop long term close working relationship based on trust and respect.
Strong analytical, creative thinking, interpretation, and problem solving abilities.
Proficiency in basic Microsoft® programs including Excel®.
Excellent time management skills.
