Leads and directs the Personal Banking team for optimum productivity and efficiency. Accomplishes sales objectives by attracting new deposits while delivering outstanding client service and retaining existing clients. Responsible for keeping deposit area in compliance with Federal Regulations and State Statutes; and the development and maintenance of deposit products, services and disclosures.
Exercise executive and administrative control over the personal banking function, including the implementation of policy and explanation of organization programs, policies and objectives.
Attend to the needs of existing and prospective clients, including answering inquiries regarding accounts and handling client complaints.
Ability to attract, motivate and retain staff.
Proactively sells banking solutions to meet established sales goals.
Must possess an ability to develop business and build relationships with clients.
Responsible for the development and training of the Personal Bankers through effective coaching techniques ensuring client satisfaction and the achievement of goals and objectives.
Exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations.
Conducts sales and coaching meetings with staff.
Responsible for all tracking and reporting as required by management.
Recommend policies and procedures to achieve better efficiency for the Personal Banking function. Create procedures when necessary.
Participate in bank beneficial service activities within the community, such as Chamber, Rotaries, etc. to promote goodwill and generate new business.
Develop local marketing plan.
Achieve goals and objectives as defined by department plan.
Create and implement action plans when needed to better the quality of service in the Personal Banking department.
Some branch travel required. Must be flexible to travel to other as needed.
Encourages team environment through effective leadership and coaching.
Comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Responsible for the successful completion of various projects related to Personal Banking department
