The Commercial Executive Administrative Assistant (CEAA) provides general administrative support to the Executive Vice President / Commercial Division Head and works closely with a team of loan administration staff, as well as the bank’s commercial relationship managers, to provide exceptional customer service to commercial banking clientele. Additionally, the CEAA assists in the preparation of loan documentation in coordination with the Commercial Loan Specialists and is responsible for generating several departmental reports. The CEAA reports to the Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking.
Essential Job Duties:
The responsibilities of the Commercial Executive Administrative Assistant include but are not limited to:
Exceptional customer service
Relationship management support, including client interaction and preparation of sales proposals
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Coordinate travel and training arrangements
Process expense reports
Answer telephones, prepare written communications
Assist with special projects, as assigned
Sort and mail loan statements
The CEAA will perform various other duties as assigned and will assist with telephone coverage and providing customer assistance in the bank’s executive office area.
The CEAA should have at least 5 years of professional administrative experience. At least 2 years of general banking experience is preferred, as is a college degree. Knowledge of commercial loan documentation and commercial administrative procedures is helpful, but not required.
The CEAA is expected to have a strong work ethic, upbeat and adaptable personality, and a passion for customer service. Attention to detail and deadlines is crucial, as is the ability to prioritize, alternatively working independently and collaborating with a team of administrative professionals. The CEAA should have strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe (PDF) skills. Over time, the CEAA is expected to become proficient in basic loan documentation, loan system (Fiserv) navigation, and Business Analytics reporting.
This is a full time, non-exempt position. HPB requires the successful completion of a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
