We have an excellent opportunity for a professional, outgoing individual to work at our Danville location. We currently have an opening for a full-time Loan Administration Assistant. Preferred candidates will have two years of loan documentation preparation, excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work responsibilities. Candidates must be able to work in a team environment, be dependable, self-motivated and interact in a positive manner with employees and customers. Candidates will need to be highly organized and detail oriented, with strong multitasking, problem-solving and follow- up skills.
Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Process all loans, including the most complex file.
Evaluate loan documentation and clear conditions as per delegated authority.
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely loan data on processing system.
Process required pre-disclosures and/or disclosures in accordance with governmental regulations including, but not limited to truth-in-lending regulations, RESPA, and flood determinations.
Obtain credit reports, flood determination reports and appraisal information.
Communicate with appraisers and attorneys in preparing loan documents.
Review all prepared documents for accuracy prior to loan closing.
Ensure that all documents have proper signatures, dates, disclosures and other relevant data.
Review exception reports to ensure all tasks are completed.
Work closely with other members of department to ensure exceptional customer service is provided to client base.
Ensure loans are booked correctly and collateral is forwarded to appropriate department.
Perform research needed to resolve customer problems in a timely manner.
Computer experience including knowledge of Laser Pro, Word and Excel programs. Willingness to learn, out-going personality, ability to handle several tasks at one time.
