Responsible for working closely with the Bank’s Risk Officer and Compliance Department personnel to develop, administer and maintain effective Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Consumer Compliance, Audit and Risk Management Programs in accordance with applicable laws, guidelines and regulations.
1. Work closely with the Bank’s BSA and Senior Compliance/CRA Officers to administer, monitor and maintain specific aspects of the compliance programs, including:
BSA and Consumer Compliance Program
2. Review and monitor activities related to the following:
BSA reports related to CTR’s, structured cash activity, wires, SAR’s, etc.
BSA activity, including $3k-$10K logs, kiting suspect reports, international ACH (IAT) reports
Compliance training report
Consumer complaints to identify possible weakness and insufficiency of bank policy and procedures
Compliance monitoring reports
Marketing materials to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
CRA Service, investment and loan activity to ensure qualifications are being met
Bank forms to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
Results of internal and/or external audits for BSA and Consumer Compliance related issues to ensure timely and accurate responses
3. Compliance Committee Responsibilities

4. Work closely with the EVP/Risk Officer and assume responsibilities in the following areas:
Assist in the preparation and compilation of ERM and Audit related metrics and reporting
Attend ERM and Audit Committee meetings and draft minutes for review by the Committees
Function as a liaison for auditors and examiners to facilitate efficient and effective audits and exams
Follow-up on and monitor open audit/compliance findings and issues
5. Additional Departmental Responsibilities such as:
Attend applicable regulatory training, seminars and conferences to maintain regulatory compliance knowledge
Determine effects of BSA and consumer protection laws and regulations on Bank policy, procedures and practices
Implement changes to Bank policy, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with BSA and consumer protection laws and regulations
Inform Bank management and lines of business regarding changes to Federal and State regulatory law
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent analytical skills
Highly organized and capable of dealing with multiple duties/projects simultaneously

Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Ability to think strategically and develop a detailed understanding of applicable products
Knowledge of relevant product software a plus
Excellent knowledge of BSA/AML and Consumer Protection Regulations
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, related field or equivalent
Prior Financial Services experience in a corporate services support role (Compliance, Audit, Risk, etc.)
ACAMS/CRCM Certifications preferred
At least 5 years prior BSA/Compliance/CRA experience
